Manager of Engineering

We are currently seeking a Manager of Engineering to lead our Engineering Team.  Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package are all offered as a part of this position.  Candidates for this position must fit the following description:

  • Manage development engineers and development Lab
  • Responsible for the on-time delivery, on-budget and successful completion of all Engineering development programs
  • Forecast capital requirements and HR resource planning, assign staff to projects and programs, manage program priorities and resource constraints
  • Monitor and guide program activities, processes and technical content, cost, and schedule
  • Review and approve technical content and cost estimates for program proposals
  • Manage Internal R&D programs
  • Provide development and training opportunities for engineering staff
  • Experience with military and aerospace standards
  • Knowledge of FAA/PMA process
  • Knowledge and experience of the design and development process including interaction with design engineers, design personnel, qualification processes, quality function interaction, and manufacturing processes
  • Skilled in resource management
  • Skilled in setting and adjusting engineering resource priorities
  • Education:  BSME
  • Experience: 10+ years engineering experience
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident

 

This position reports to the General Manager and is a member of the Management staff.
