Electrical Engineer

We are searching for an Electrical Engineer to provide design and project management on new development and existing programs.  As part of a cross-functional team, draw on the resources of Quality, Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Purchasing and other functions to accomplish company objectives. 
                                        

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Heater, circuit and sensor development, design and analysis of new products.
  • Provide engineering support for existing products.
  • Assist technical staff in test set up and testing of new products.
  • Complete documentation and reports for certification of new products.
  • Conduct failure analysis on new and existing products in area of expertise.
  • Work in conjunction with manufacturing to develop design/assembly techniques.
  • Assist with Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) of new designs.
  • Work in conjunction with manufacturing to develop design/assembly techniques.
  • Perform additional duties and assignments, as requested

Skills and Experience:     

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience as an electrical design/project engineer.
  • Aerospace experience in a design or manufacturing support role. 
  • Project management experience a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Working knowledge of solid modeling software, such as PRO/E or equivalent solid modeling system a plus. 
  • General knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
